I have really been liking Washed Out lately. The nostalgic sound of his music makes me long for some summertime relaxing. This is one of my favorite tracks from his recently released EP Summer 2009.

Dirty Super Car – Get a Grip (The Loops of Fury Remix)

I just got this tasty little treat in the inbox today from London based electro label Grand Hotel. It’s a track called ‘Get a Grip’ by an artist who I found it difficult to get any solid info on called Dirty Super Car. The track is remixed by The Loops of Fury out of Brisbane and has a nice classic, gritty electro-house feel to it.

Frankmusik and Computer Club – Losing Streak (DJ Edit)

The long awaited collaboration between equally talented artists Computer Club and Frankmusik was dropped the other day and it was well worth the wait. The track, ‘Losing Streak’, is part of Computer Club’s upcoming 6 track EP due out this month on So Sweet Records.

Remix Rush :: Hot Pink Delorean do ZOMBIES!

So it has been a while since I have posted here at TheDopeFiend and I honestly can’t think of a better way to come back than to bring you this remix Hot Pink Delorean has done of Designer Drugs‘ ‘ZOMBIES!’. The original track is amazing to begin with. I didn’t think it anyone could have made it harder than it already is, but Hot Pink Delorean managed to take the ZOMBIES! and put there own evil metal twist on it that makes it a complete headbanger of a track. It literally game me goosebumps the first time hearing it. I suggest you download it now!

Kids At The Bar is a couple of guys from the midwest (Oklahoma City to be exact) who describe themselves “a mixture of electro, punk, hip-hop, and rock.” Hmm, sounds just about like every other DJ/Producer you run across these days. Truth be told trying to describe most dance music these days is nearly impossible because  artists are influenced by so many different styles of music. Regardless of how you discribe these remixes done by Kids At The Bar, they are sure to get the dance floor in a frenzy. The first one is of the highly-hyped Passion Pit’s track ‘Sleepyhead’, this one is a must listen. Kids At The Bar are playing at SXSW (along with the rest of the artists in the entire world) at the Purevolume House Party Wed March 18th.
