Anymore these days I listen to NPR more than almost anything else (maybe it’s because I am getting old). This is why the NPR Radio by Livio caught my eye. The idea is a simple one, which is many times a good thing. The radio broadcasts NPR via WIFI and allows you to bookmark your favorite programs. Also a portion of the proceeds actually go to NPR.

We Wood is a company born in Italy that makes watches almost completely out of wood. The intent is to create products that are all natural and 100% free of toxic chemicals, in addition to that they will also plant one tree for every watch purchased. It’s cool to see companies finding ways to be eco-friendly in random industries you would never expect.

Time Spent With Contrails is a series of 15 photographs that were taken and collected over the period of a several years and thousands of miles. From Los Angeles to Hong Kong, from Vietnam to San Francisco these photographs were all taken on 120 film and left untouched by Photoshop. The photos are now being offered as a collection of fifteen wallpapers that includes several sizes for different screen resolutions, iPhone and iPad. The entire collection is available for $1.99.

Immediately upon seeing the poster for Casey Affleck and Jaoquin Phoenix’s bizzare film, I’m Still Here, I was curious as to who was behind the artwork. I got the answer today while reading design blog Changethethought. Neil Kellerhouse is the man behind this poster and a lot of other great typography and photography.
