If you are a fan of The Postal Service you (along with the rest of us) have been waiting for a follow-up album to Give Up for years now. Well I have a little something for your blip-pop needs that may help out a bit. They are called Faded Paper Figures. I am sure they are more than tired of hearing the comparison to The Postal Service but the likeness can’t be ignored. Even the semi-corny light hearted lyrics and vocals have the same feel. Not to detract from the music, because I really like it and they do this type of music very well. I look forward to hearing more from them in the future. Faded Paper Figures have their debut album Dynamo available now which I just purchased from iTunes.

They have just released their second album New Medium, and while they still have a similar synth-pop sound it would seem they have come into their own and developed a sound of their own on this album. I have only given the album a once over, but from what I heard I am really liking it. [...]
